DOUGLAS C. RAPP, CISM President of the Board, Global Epic Douglas Rapp, CISM is an emerging technology catalyst. Throughout his career, you will find him squarely at the center of countless firsts. He has successfully executed state, national, and global initiatives in 5G/Next G technology, advanced communications technology, cybersecurity, semiconductors, hypersonics, and more. Doug is currently the President of the Board for Global Epic, a global NGO that develops, assists, and networks cybersecurity ecosystems in over twenty-five countries. He is also the Vice President of the NineTwelve Institute, a U.S. based organization that works at the convergence of industry, academia, government on the edge of emerging technologies. Doug has served as the Advisor to the State of Indiana for Cybersecurity and authored Indiana’s Cybersecurity Economic Development Plan. He has started, scaled, and pivoted technology businesses and served as an Entrepreneur in Residence for Purdue University. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in security, diplomacy, and ethics at Purdue University. Doug is a published author, international speaker, and has testified before Congress on technology workforce development. A decorated combat Veteran, his greatest accomplishments are having raised two amazing children and having been entrusted to lead America’s sons and daughters in uniform.
